Heather Dawn Robin is no stranger to the arts and entertainment industry. Producer of two multi-award–winning feature films and several short films, and director of live concerts and trade shows, she is determined to see creativity through to completion. Her vocal talent has given her the honor to sing praise and worship around the world and contribute background vocals for renowned artists. She also provides technical operations for live sporting events and award shows.

Heather Dawn’s debut film, Restraining Order, was selected as the Pan African Film Festival Centerpiece. It received Best Picture at the Hollywood Black Film Festival and earned Audience Choice Awards from both Martha’s Vineyard Film Festival and the Gene Siskel Film Festival in Chicago. The accolades continued when Restraining Order was nominated for a NAACP Image Award. Her second feature, The Lying Truth, won Best Picture and Audience Choice awards for the Hayti Heritage Film Festival.

Despite finding success in the above accomplishments, a long-held vision resurfaced. Now, Heather Dawn Robin is embarking on a literary career to bring readers engaging stories stamped with her signature delivery. An alumna of California State University, Dominguez Hills, faithful follower of Jesus Christ and devoted mother of one son, she resides in Southern California.
