This was such an easy, keep you on the edge of your seat read. I read this book with three nieces and one cousin as a book club. The book was so good that I wanted to read past the four chapters a week we read. It was so hard not to cheat! Our group had a chance to speak with the author on Zoom. What a delight she is. She revealed how the creation came to be with God’s direction.
This book was easy to read and so captivating that I did not want to put it down. I read it in two days curious to find out what happens next. Heather did a number on us with this one and that number is “1”. Number one in intrigue, suspense, and engagement. I loved the perfectly manicured settings and descriptions of characters with each scenario of this book. If you haven’t read it, it’s a Must Read. Get your own copy because I’m sure I won’t loan mine.? I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book. Heather has an anointed gift of writing. May God continue to cover and bless this young lady to give us more to read!!!!

WOW! was the first word to enter my mind and proceed out of my mouth. Heather has done what she set out to do with this book and that is to WOW! the reader. The ride through this reading is indeed filled with many twists and turns that will anger you, humor you and cause you to imagine yourself in the characters place. In fact the mere descriptiveness places you in each scene hearing, seeing and feeling the perplexities expressed on each page. If you want to have your thoughts, emotions and imagination challenged…read this book. There is so much to consider throughout that you will need to read in modules and then, spend time allowing the perfectly written scenes to “marinate” in your mind and imagination. Heather’s writing style is clear, imaginative and alive.
Very cool read! Enjoyed it from beginning to end. Found myself eager to read the book to find out what was going to happen next. It was an intriguing story loaded with unexpected twists and suspense. Heather’s writing style is easy to read and allows your imagination to visualize each scene she uncovers. I look forward to reading the sequel to learn what happens to Shannon, Carlito, the girl, and, of course, sexy, ominous Carlos!
